Structural modification of a residential villa in Palm Hills Resort

Work Description:
Implementing profound structural modifications to achieve the architect’s vision, as the villa was transformed from the classic style to the modern style with the use of very thin sections with large flat dimensions, which required designing composite sections of concrete and steel and linking them together with the basic structural structure.

Work Description:
Making substantial structural modifications, including increasing the built-up area of the villa by creating bases, columns and beams and linking them to the main structure, adding balconies, creating roof rooms, removing beams from the ceiling of the hall and replacing them with lights, then re-finishing the villa from the inside and outside.

Work Description:
Due to the development of new production lines, it was necessary to remove the main column carrying the metal truss and replace it with a metal frame of two side columns. This was all done during the factory’s work in a way that did not interfere with the production process and without dismantling the roof or any other parts. Temporary inclined side supports were implemented to compensate for the column’s load and then they were removed after Complete implementation of the alternative framework
